Stephanie Serafin is admitted to practice in Florida, the U.S. Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit, and the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida. Since 2015, Florida Super Lawyers has selected Ms. Serafin for inclusion in the Rising Stars edition. Ms. Serafin worked as a law clerk at the Fourth District Court of Appeal in West Palm Beach, Florida (2008-2010). She is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Miami School of Law. She is a former Senior Notes and Comments Editor of the Miami Law Review (2007-2008) and a member of the Order of the Coif, an honorary society recognizing law school graduates who have achieved the highest level of scholarly achievement. Ms. Serafin graduated cum laude from the University of Florida.
Ms. Serafin’s areas of practice focus primarily on civil appeals and litigation support. She handles cases in the areas of complex commercial, medical malpractice, personal injury, products liability, insurance, class actions, securities, marital and family law, probate and trust.
Bar Activities & Service
Ms. Serafin currently serves on the Florida Bar Appellate Court Rules Committee (2011- present). She also serves as the reporter for the Florida Supreme Court Committee on Standard Jury Instructions in Contract and Business Cases (2015- ). She is a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association and its Judicial Relations Committee. Ms. Serafin is also a member of the Craig S. Barnard American Inn of Court and the Florida Association for Women Lawyers. She received a pro bono award from the Florida Supreme Court and the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County in 2010 and 2013.
